Working For The Government Whether You Like It Or Not

First, what’s a blog if one can’t spout out what’s on their mind on occasion…

Now for the main part:

We are going to do a little math:

Whether you are paid hourly, salary or in business for yourself, This will give you either a broad glimpse or frightening detailed analysis depending how how much you choose to be specific.

Grab a pencil or paper, calculator if need be or just use your computer. Tax statements,  pay stubs or whatever you have that tells you what you pay in taxes. There maybe additional taxes and or fees to.  Fees are another fancy word for tax when it involves running a business and is required by ordinance, law or whatnot to do your business such as; EPA RRP and other certifications, licensing and such.Do you have a business that involves sales of goods? That’s taxed too.

Take the amount of your Local, State & Federal taxes, and figure mean daily average sales tax. taxes imposed on utilities, telephone, cell phone, cable & what not Divide that sum by your hourly wage, this equals how much time it takes you to pay your taxes. Are you get your money’s worth?

Thought for the day and every day:

Land of the Free and home of the Brave…yes? Free to pay for their mismanagement and brave to enable them. Consider who and what we’ve been enabling over the years. This has been a public service announcement brought by yours truly.

What has our Governments done with this money?

Pork-bellies, bail-outs & financing things, institutions and sects to name a few, that I want nothing to do with nor support. I don’t know about anyone else, but I am pretty much fed up with this…just saying.
